Celebrating 20 years!

Honeysuckle Interiors celebrated their 20th Anniversary in style on Saturday 14th June 2008. Their glamorous charity black tie ball was held at The Hampshire Court Hotel where nearly 200 guests that included customers, suppliers, business associates, friends and family were invited to attend. A champagne reception with jazz band was followed with an auction in aid of Clic Sargent (supporting children and families suffering from cancer) endorsed on the evening by GMTV’s Dr Hilary Jones.

Event photographer Stephen John Hill helped to capture the memories of the evening with portraits of all the guests in their finery with 20% of the proceeds going to the charity. John Bright did an excellent job as compare and raised money with games of heads & tails and mastered the art as head auctioneer.

Honeysuckles design team put in a huge effort and with their guests generosity raised an amazing £8000. The evening was topped off with dancing until the early hours to live Jools Holland style rhythm and blues band Big Al & his Hoodoo Kings and a good time was had by all.

“The evening was everything I had hoped for and more” said Marina Wooldridge owner and director of Honeysuckle Interiors in Oakley. “Twenty years in business is a fantastic achievement and I wanted to mark the occasion with a party that no one would forget! All of us are touched by cancer in some way and I felt that as I have been so fortunate in my life so far, have a career that I love and enjoy so much, wanted to give something back. Everyone had a great time I’m so proud of everyone who helped to make it all possible and for the amount of money we were able to raise for Clic Sargent”
